Triple Two Coffee, the 12-strong franchise-led business, is set to open its first northern site this month in Manchester’s City Tower building.

The coffee brand will occupy a 1,600 sq ft ground floor space in the building, joining other recently signed operators Lidl and Freshly Chopped.

“This is a national, fast-growing food and drink chain which will complement and enhance the existing offering, said Rob Cosslett, investment manager at Schroders, the real estate company acting on the deal.

“Triple Two Coffee is set for a rapid expansion all over the UK, and we feel privileged that City Tower has been selected to be the first destination in the North.”

Since launching as a kiosk concept inside Swindon’s Brunel Centre in 2016, Triple Two Coffee has grown to 12 bricks-and-mortar sites throughout the South and Midlands.

The brand aims to reach over 100 stores in the next three years, and is due to open its 14 site in Hove following the Manchester launch.
