Tossed, the London-based salad bar concept, is to further strengthen its link up with service station operator Welcome Break, with the opening of two further roadside sites.

The 17-strong group opened its latest roadside site this week at the Fleet South services, with a further opening at Warwick services set to come on line at the end of the month.

Tossed currently operates three outlets outside London in South Mimms and Birchanger Services and at Bluewater in Kent.

Welcome Break, the motorway service area operator, is set to have its food & beverage offer fully-branded by the end of April.

Speaking at M&C Report’s inaugural Food on the Go conference, chief executive Rod McKie said that the company would add a further 20 Harry Ramsden’s sites, 20 Subway units and a further three Tossed outlets to its estate by that point.
