Starbucks franchise business 23.5 Degrees has opened four stores in the past month, taking its estate to 105.

The latest store opened at Basildon St Hilary Retail Park. Built across two levels the store has a mezzanine, and is designed by Marc de Wambrechies and Ray Morgan, with the fit-out by JSP Building Services and Tommy Rogers.

Before that, the company opened a drive-thru in Buckingham, located off London Road near the Travelodge.

It launched a second Starbucks in York, located on Stirling Road, just off the A1237 by the Clifton Moor Retail Park.

For fourth store for 23.5 Degrees was Stone Drive Thru, located on the northbound A34 in Stone, a conversion of an old motorcycle showroom.

In 2022 accounts, the company reported turnover of £74m and profit after tax of £6.3m

The private equity backed business, which is Starbucks’ biggest franchisee in the UK, said earlier this year it had grown its pipeline to 50 stores.

Led by managing Director Mark Hepburn, 23.5 Degrees has plans to reach 300 stores by 2027.
