SSP, the travel concessions operator, has acquired a bakery café group in Germany for c£5m.
The 32 Wiener Feinbäckerei Heberer GmbH, known as Heberer, sites are in transport hubs across Germany with 30 in railway stations and two in airports.
The acquisition of these outlets will further strengthen SSP’s presence in travel locations in Germany. SSP said the value of the gross assets acquired is approximately £5m, and the profit attributable to the assets in 2014 was approximately £1m.
