Second Cup Coffee Company, the Canada-based international franchise, has lined up a new site in in Romford.
The coffee shop group meets casual dining chain, recently opened in Southampton in Above Bar Street, and has a further opening lined up for Kensington High Street.
The group, which operates more than 160 sites globally, currently operates around 10 sites in the UK.
The group is believed to have signed up 12 UK franchise partners so far, all of whom have agreed to operate between five to 10 stores at different locations, with hopes for 600 sites in total in the UK.
It currently also operates sites in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bloomsbury, Portobello Road and Harrow.
The group said it was actively seeking new regional franchise partners for additional area development within the UK.
The brand is believed to have signed a partnership development deal with an unnamed Saudi Arabian company to eventually open 10 sites in central London.
