Budget fashion retailer Primark is launching a specialty coffee shop concept with foodservice company Gather & Gather, MCA understands.

Primarket is set to launch at the retailer’s Glasgow store in Braehead shopping centre.

Primarket’s menu includes a range of coffee, tea, iced and soft drinks, granola pots, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, ‘pitta pizza’, waffles and cakes.

It is the latest of several café openings at Primark, with a Friends-themed café modelled on fictional Central Perk opening in Manchester, and a Disney themed café launching in Birmingham.

Gather & Gather, which is owned by outsourcing group Mitie, says it delivers specialty coffee scale at scale, serving 10m cups a year.
