Scoffs, the “British tapas” concept from Chris Hutcheson and his son Adam, has placed its original site in London’s Victoria on the market, M&C Report has learnt.

The 1,116sq ft site, which opened at the end of 2012, is on the market with a £150k premium and rent of £105k per annum through Restaurant Property.

Last year, the group opened new units at the Millbank Tower and in Thames Street in the City.

At the time, Adam Hutcheson told M&C Report that the group’s Victoria site was performing well and that foreseeable future it would focus its roll out plans on central London.

The pair had previously talked about eventually expand the concept into a 30-strong chain.

Hutcheson is the ex-business partner of Gordon Ramsay and Adam formerly oversaw Ramsay’s gastropub operation.

They launched the A1 grab and go concept with the tag line “the art of sharing”.
