Nudo Sushi Box, the fledgling grab and go operator, is set to launch across Manchester after securing three sites in the city.

The concept, which is the brainchild of Karen Lau, recently made its debut in the city’s Oxford Street.

M&C understands that it has now secured further openings in Spinningfields Square and the City Tower, Mosley Street for later this year.

The openings will take the company to nine sites overall and it is currently looking at further opportunities in the north west before expanding nationally

The group also currently operates sites in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland and Durham, the latter opened this May in the Gates shopping centre.

Nudo Sushi Box is the sister concept to Lau’s Nudo Noodle House restaurant, which launched in Newcastle in 2009.

The first Sushi Box opened in 2013 in Northumberland Street, Newcastle.

Earlier this year, the company launched its first franchise offer. The franchise fee for one Nudo Sushi Box outlet is £40,000 + VAT.
