A new deli concept called Fratelli Greci is to open next month in London’s Marylebone.

Opening at 26 Seymour Place, Fratelli Greci, meaning the ‘Greek Brothers’ in Italian, will be taking a 10-year lease on the 1,591 sq ft split level site.

The deli will be home to over 580 premium food and drink items from olive oils, to pulses, fresh artisan pasta, cheese and wine, all carefully sourced from small Italian and Greek farms.

Established in 1936, Fratelli Greci was once a small family-run local grocery in Cyprus. Today, three generations down the line, the ‘Greek Brothers’ will be debuting their first delicatessen in London.

Efie Ellina, owner of Fratelli Greci said: “As a vibrant dining destination in London’s West End, offering a host of international cuisines, Seymour Place was our first choice to debut Fratelli Greci. We are passionate food lovers and we can’t wait to share our love of quality Mediterranean flavours with Londoners.”

Philip Norris, Head of Retail at The Portman Estate said: “Fratelli Greci will perfectly complement Seymour Place’s existing restaurant offer. The street is a place to experience a host of world flavours, from Basque dishes at Lurra and Donostia, to a taste of Corsica at SANDY’s Pizza, and modern Italian at Bernardi’s, making it an exciting destination to explore from breakfast, to brunch, lunch and dinner.”
