Black Milk Cereal Dive, the breakfast cereal café in Manchester, is expanding into Scotland six months after opening in Manchester.
A site on Glasgow’s Argyle Street has been confirmed by the group and there are plans for a third venue in Edinburgh also in the pipeline.
Creative director Oliver Lloyd-Taylor told STV: “We are thinking of coming to Glasgow. We think it has quite a similar vibe to Manchester and we’re looking into Argyle Street.
“Edinburgh is also another base we’re looking at. We’ve been talking about moving to Glasgow before Christmas this year, but realistically it’s going to be after.
“I first had the idea to launch a milk bar with all the products based around milk, like shakes, smoothies and cakes - then we decided to evolve it.
“When we were brainstorming this cereal idea kept popping up - now we’re fortunate enough to work with a chocolatier in the Lake District who makes all of our crazy ideas we come up with like the chocolate cereal bowls.”
