High-end café-bakery group L’Eto Caffe is targeting affluent London neighbourhoods to expand with a further six sites over the next two to three years, M&C has learnt.

Artem Login, who founded L’Eto in Soho in 2011, told M&C he is looking at sites in Wimbledon and Hamstead to mirror the success the brand has had in Knightsbridge and Chelsea.

Login said: “We could easily open another six in the next two to three years before expanding the brand further.”

Login is exploring funding options to accelerate growth plans. To date all expansion has been self-funded from the existing sites but Login is interested in working with investors to speed the process up and open more locations.

“We would be able to do it ourselves but it would take a greater time,” Login said.

As well as expanding in London, L’Eto is considering options to introduce the brand in mainland Europe and the Middle East.

Login said discussions are taking place with partners in Paris and Berlin to launch the brand under management in these cities.

Meanwhile interest has come from parties in the Middle East, where much of the clientele to the London cafes hail from, so Login is considering franchising options to introduce the brand to Middle Eastern countries.

Login opened the first L’Eto Caffe as a high-end bakery on Berwick Street in Soho in 2011 and has subsequently opened units in Belgravia, Brompton, Fulham, Chelsea and Mayfair.

The format has evolved as the business has grown to include healthy breakfasts, lunches and an a la carte evening menu to capitalise on all day parts – including afternoon tea and cakes from the boutique bakery selection.
