Le Pain Quotidien, the all-day bakery and cafe concept, has strengthen its UK head office team with the appointment of former Zizzi marketeer Elizabeth Norris as its new marketing director and ex-Starbucks asset manager Ben Suffolk as its new head of property.

Norris, joins the 23-strong group, which is led in the UK and France by Jack Moran, after two-and-a-half years as marekting director at the Gondola-owned Zizzi, where she led its food, marketing and customer services strategy.

Previous to his stint at Starbucks, Suffolk spent three years at Pizza Hut as an estates manager and a year at in the property department of McDonald’s

The company opened its latest site in London in St. Paul’s earlier this year.

The company opened sites in Highgate, North Audley Street, Kendal Street and Chiswick during 2012, while disposing of its previous site in St Paul’s to Burger & Lobster.

The group, which has over 175 stores worldwide in 17 different countries, is looking to add another 15 to 20 in the UK in the coming three years.

The concept is poised for continued growth within the capital, as well as specific areas within the M25.
