Expanding international coffee and juice bar concept Joe and the Juice has added a new site in Manchester’s Trafford Centre and is set to open in Newcastle soon.

The newest additions to the estate are part of plans to add 10 -15 UK outlets this year, as founder Kaspar Basse told M&C Report.

The company will further develop its retail partnership with John Lewis and Debenhams in cities around the country beginning in the north east and targetting shopping centres. It opened its first site within a John Lewis in Solihull which marked the company’s debut outside of London.

Further sites are due to open in central London as well as internationally in South Korea, Singapore and New York.

Joe & the Juice previously announced plans to open up to 250 stores internationally over the next three years having established Joe & the Juice bars in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Germany and the UK.

The company is backed by Swedish equity firm Valedo and the growth is financed through this partnership as well as strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
