Jonathan Hart, Caffe Nero's UK managing director, has been appointed to the company's board with immediate effect.
Hart joined the company in June from Abbey, where he was head of branch distribution. He has also held positions at Dixons Group, where he was group managing director, and Woolworths Big W, where he was managing director.
Gerry Ford, the company's chairman, said: “Caffè Nero is a rapidly growing business and it is imperative that we continue to build on our retail skills at senior management level and maximise the retail opportunity for our brand.
“Jonathan has an outstanding retail pedigree and skill set that will be of great value as we continue to grow our business. We are delighted to welcome him to the Board.”
