Granier Bakery Café, the Spanish coffee, artisan and baked goods chain, is in negotiations on a number of sites across London to grow its presence in the capital, M&C has learnt.
David Parera, expansion director at Granier told M&C the group intends to add a third bakery cafe in the next six to nine months as it expands.
He said Granier is looking at sites in Portobello, Queensway, Nothing Hill and other parts of west London.
“We are very happy with the response to our proposal,” Parea said. “We want to demonstrate that we are master, artisan bakers with a long-standing and successful history in Spain that we hope to replicate London.”
The group is opening its second UK site at Woolwich Arsenal Estate in November
Granier has over 270 bakeries in Spain where it is famed for its artisan recipes, including 64 different varieties of bread.
