German Doner Kebab has begun its expansion in the UK, after securing franchise agreements for multiple sites at selected areas of The Midlands, London, South Wales and Scotland.

The company, which is led in Europe by Kamshad Zadeh, opened its first site in the UK in Birmingham earlier this summer. It recently added a further site in Ilford and will open in West Ealing next month.

The group, which operates c40 sites in the Middle East, has agreements in place for more than 200 store openings across Europe and Pakistan.

Originally from Dubai with a long history in Germany, the company claims to offer a healthy doner kebab different from the rest of the UK.

Zadehs aid: “Due to our special production the meat is not greasy. Also we prepare all salad, vegetables and sauces fresh in store to achieve our high standards of quality. All our meat is 100% Halal. We serve both beef and chicken and all meat is imported from our German production directly. This is the main reason why our meat is different to the rest of UK, we are producing the meat ourselves in highest quality. Also we always use a fresh skewer at the start of the day.”
