Pomme De Pain, the French sandwich chain, is to make its debut in the UK in London later this month, M&C Report understands.

The company, which is owned by the Neuhauser Group and operates c120 sites in France, is understood to have secured a site in London’s West End.

It is thought that the brand will open under a franchise agreement in the UK, after recently similar deals in Egypt and Tunisia.

The concept focuses on freshly prepared sandwiches and pastries. Founded 30 years ago it serves more than 12 million customers each year.

It was previously owned by Elior, which led to its development across a number of transport hubs, before it was acquired by the Neuhauser Group last year.
