Filmore & Union, the Yorkshire based café and deli group, has appointed Tim Downey, formerly of Steak & Co, as operations director, MCA has learnt.
He will be responsible for developing the imminent pipeline of sites as well as the expansion of the brand.
Owner Adele Carnell said: “He’s worked for multi-site operations, which is what we needed, and he’s been responsible for marketing, which as a brand is a big focus for us, as we communicate with our customers a lot.”
The eight-strong group has a forthcoming site due to open in Redbrick retail centre, near Leeds, with two more in the pipeline expected to open in the current quarter.
