Eat, the Lyceum Capital-backed group, is returning to regional expansion, with a site lined up Cardiff that is due to open in December.

The group, which opened 10 London stores in the first half of this year, is now opening its first unit in Wales at the St David’s Centre in Cardiff, M&C understands.

Adrian Johnson told M&C after the initial London opening schedule the plan is to add 30 EAT units each year across the UK for the next three years.

M&C understands EAT is also interested in introducing the brand into Leeds, Bristol and Newcastle as well as increasing its presence in Manchester and Birmingham.
