The London-based Dum Dum Doughnut concept is to make its international debut by the end of this year in Dubai.

The group, which is led by founder Paul Hurley, has signed a deal to open 10 sites in the UAE over the next five years.

The company, which is now the only doughnut brand sold in Harrods, recently opened it fourth standalone site in London, in Brick Lane and is working on a pipeline for further openings in the UK in 2016.

It also currently operates site in Box Park, Old Street and Westfield Stratford City.

This week sees the launch of its new website at www.dumdums.co.uk which encompasses all things Dum Dum including a new doughnut courier service, corporate design doughnut service and bespoke giant doughnut cake ordering option.

Hurley said: “I am really proud of the reaction to Dum Dum but our achievement is no accident. This is an idea, recipe and brand that had been crafted and planned for over a decade. Our doughnuts frankly are the tastiest you can find, and they are made with honesty, natural ingredients and real baking passion. Our success has everything to do with years of dedication, excellent product and the support of a community of loyal Dum Dum followers.

“This has been a big year for us brand wise, product wise and outlet wise so we believe that our new website, delivery service and future global expansion plans will only bring us closer to our goal of sharing our doughnuts with as many people as possible across the world.”
