Detox Kitchen, the London-based group of delis, healthy food products and home delivery service, will launch a deli pop-up in Selfridges’ food hall, next month.

Launching 4 August for three months, the Detox Kitchen deli pop-up will serve a wide range of fresh salads such as ‘Miso, kale & aubergine’, ‘Courgetti with cashew & basil pesto’ and ‘Sweet potato with red onion, soya lemon yoghurt & honey pecans’.

It will also offer juices, smoothies and baked goods to hungry shoppers. On the menu will be the ‘Super Green Cooler’, a new smoothie exclusive to Selfridges.

After opening her second, flagship deli in Fitzrovia earlier this year, founder Lily Simpson has plans to open 10 more sites in the next three years after securing £2m investment from London-based investment firm Encore Capital. Jyotin Sethi, investor behind the BAO, Hopper and Bubbledog concepts, took a stake in business alongside Encore.

Simpson has said that the concept has the capability to grow beyond 50 sites.

She said: “I’ve always admired Selfridges and the inspirational, creative brands that the store is home to. Although we’ve stocked our grab-and-go range in the store for some time now, it’s very exciting that we’ve been asked to bring a full range of salads, smoothies and baked goods to the food hall for Selfridges’ shoppers to enjoy.”
