The Detox Kitchen, the London-based deli and café concept, is set to expand in the capital, after securing a site at Fitzroy Place.

The concept, which was founded by Lily Simpson, has secured the last remaining unit at Exemplar and Aviva Investors’ Fitzroy Place scheme. The 2,000sq ft site will open later this year.

It is thought that the company, which operates a site in Kingly Court, plans to open a further unit before the year end.

Cubbit & House has already opened its 200-cover Percy & Founders venue at the scheme through sister business Open House.

Simpson said: “Fitzroy Place and Fitzrovia is the natural location for us to expand. We’re a young company but have already achieved great success with our delis at Harvey Nichols and Kingly Court, as well as a growing meal delivery business, but what we want to do here is on another level. What has been created and achieved at Fitzroy Place so far is wonderful so we look forward to joining Estee Lauder and others soon.”

Seb Howard at CBRE acted on the Fitzroy Place deal.
