Crepeaffaire, the all-day snack concept, will open its first overseas site this weekend in Hamburg, Germany, as part of plans to roll out the conceot under franchise across parts of Europe.

The group, which is looking to open five further sites in the UK next year, will open in the Blankenese part of the city tomorrow. It will be the first stage in a roll out across the north of the country.

The company is currently reviewing franchise options across Holland, Belgium and the Middle East.

Earlier this year, it appointed Prime Retail to find sites in central London and key regional cities.

It is seeking units of 600-1,000sq ft in shopping centre and leisure schemes, high street locations and transport hubs. It is also looking at in-store concessions and kiosks for its Express format.

The seven-strong group is targeting locations such as Covent Garden, Camden, the South Bank and South Kensington in central London, as well as Bath, Brighton, Manchester, Liverpool, Guildford and York.

Over the next few months, the company is due to open in Reading, Cambridge, Oxford and Richmond.
