AngelBerry, the Bristol-based frozen yogurt operator, has lined up its next two UK store openings as well as growing its overseas pipeline, M&C Report has learnt.

The company, which was set up in 2011 by Ryan Pascoe and James Taylor, will open a company-owned store in Weston-super-Mare, north Somerset, in early 2015 along with a site in Taunton, Devon, under franchise to bring ita UK estate to five.

Taylor said the leases have been signed on each and they will open after the winter for optimum frozen yogurt season.

Meanwhile the company is building its overseas pipeline with more franchisees lined up to open another store in Johannesburg, South Africa this year and “a couple” in 2015, Taylor said. The first AngelBerry store opened in Johannesburg last month.

A further three stores are scheduled to open in Abu Dhabi next year, which will bring the estate to four franchise shops in the country.

AngelBerry also operates four stores in Mauritius, with two high street locations and two in shopping malls.

Taylor said: “We are trying to target India, it’s just about finding the right strategic partner to work with.”

In February this year the company broke its fundraising target of £150k, raising a total of £199,480 through crowdfunding investment site CrowdCube.
