Nearly two-thirds of operators (63%) have experienced some sort of supply issue since outdoor trading resumed, Lumina Intelligence’s Hospitality Leaders Poll reveals.

Nearly half of respondents to the poll (48%) have had to increase prices since reopening.

Some 44% think when indoor dining resumes on May 17 it will help them make a profit, though 21% believe they will continue to make a loss when indoor dining resumes.

Overall, nearly three-quarters of respondents (74%) are confident about the future of their business, up two percentage points week-on-week.
