A new publication for wholesalers in the foodservice channel has revealed good growth across all key channels, with chilled food and drinks showing impressive upswings of +7.1% and 21.9%, respectively.

The Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) and CGA Strategy have teamed up to provide a monthly report showing the combined contributors that are driving the MAT growth (of 6.6% to October) in the channel.

“Foodservice offers good growth opportunities for both suppliers and wholesalers, but in order for stakeholders to take full advantage, they have to be able to measure the effectiveness of their investment in the channel – by bringing our wholesaler members and CGA together, we are creating a robust read of the market which will give them the tools they need to make the most of the potential in this customer base”, said FWD chief executive, James Bielby.
