UK demand for Caribbean, Thai and Mongolian food is rising significantly, according to European online restaurant reservation service and app Quandoo.

Reservations received for Caribbean food increased 24 times in 2016 compared to those in 2015, according to the service, while Thai and Mongolian reservations have increased by 700 and 800 per cent respectively.

Geographically, London still saw the most restaurant bookings, but Bristol jumped by 1,800 per cent in 2016, while Bath saw a 1,050 per cent rise. Manchester and Liverpool increased in size by 297 per cent and 716 per cent respectively in 2016.

The results were compiled following analysis on cuisine style and location data for Quandoo UK.
