Three in four operators (74%) are confident or very confident that the rest of the re-opening roadmap will continue as planned.

However Lumina’s Intelligence’s Hospitality Leader’s Poll found 75% of those re-opening their outdoor space were concerned about poor weather.

In comments as part of the poll, several operators told Lumina they were not taking bookings because of uncertainty over no-shows, lateness and poor weather.

Half of the operators surveyed believe it is fairly likely or very likely a Covid certification scheme will be introduced into the hospitality industry at some stage down the line.

Almost three quarter of the operators surveyed (72%) said they are either quite confident, confident, or very confident about the future of their business, up three percentage points on last week.
