Yard Sale Pizza, the London based restaurant concept, has secured a fourth site, in Leytonstone High Road, MCA has learnt.

Co-founder Johnnie Tate, whose business recently won the Observer Food Monthly Award for best newcomer, told MCA the site would be their biggest yet, with 25 covers inside, and a further 15 outside.

He said the business was on track to open another five or six sites over the next two years, with the business gearing up for expansion, and considering investment options.

Tate said: “We’re working on out fourth site out in Leytonstone, and hoping to open early in the New Year.

“There’s not a huge amount out there at the moment, but it’s a really nice area, very pleasant.

“It will be very similar to what we’ve got, with some really nice outside seating.

He added: “We have new ops managers and area head chefs in place and our plan is to open another six sites in the next two to three years. We’re looking to go relatively big with it.

“We’re completely organic at the moment, but we think at some point we will need some external investment, potentially next year, we’re looking at the options at the moment.”
