Masterchef presenter John Torode, who runs London's Smiths of Smithfield restaurant in Clerkenwell, believes the traditional Sunday lunch is in need of a facelift.
He argues that the food need not be a predictable roast and says people should think beyond the classic meat and two veg scenario.
The most important ingredient though, says Torode, is conversation, general stimulation and "education of the youth".
