Will Ricker, founder of Ricker Restaurants, which owns and operates a number of successful restaurants in London and New York, has confirmed details of his new Stoke House concept, which is set to open in Victoria’s Nova development.
The quick-dining concept is grab and go, working on the principal that what your meat weighs you pay for. Ricker describes it has an “egalitarian pocket-friendly concept”.
He said: “The Stokehouse is an updated rework of the great British carvery, serving traditional cuts of the most delicious meats and seasonal produce from around Great Britain. Modern-classic cocktails and wines straight from the barrel will be served alongside the food, good vibes and great music will please the after-work crowd.”
As flagged up by MCA at the end of 2014, it is thought that the Stoke House will feature one large contemporary eating hall bordered by “an energetic bar” and a ‘smoker’ self-service food counter.
Ricker is thought to be seeking further sites of 3,000-5,000sq ft in central London and neighbourhood locations for the concept.
