Ping Pong, the dim sum chain, has launched a revamp of the brand, putting greater emphasis on its speciality teas and cocktails offer.

The eight-strong brand, which is led by Paul Sarlas, has appointed Caulder Moore creative agency and Andy Martin Architects to drive the makeover, where all aspects of the brand will be revisited from uniforms to door handles.

The revamp will look “to celebrate Chinese traditions and the Shanghai 1930’s glamour look with the quirky individuality of London in which customers can enjoy the renowned ‘little parcels of deliciousness’, discovering aromatic teas and sipping on contemporary cocktails”.

The group’s original site in Great Marlborough Street, Soho, will be the first site to get the new look.

The two-floor venue will feature a new sleek and modern interior, with a first floor tea bar and a dedicated lounge and bar area extended over two floors with high and low stools providing a choice of settings for “light lunches, casual get-togethers or informal business meetings”.
