MEATliquor is offering a £20,000 finders fee to anyone who finds a nearby replacement to its debut restaurant in Marylebone’s Welbeck Street.

The site is set to close in February to make way for a hotel.

Founder Scott Collins told MCA the group was looking for a 3,000-5,000 sq ft site within walking distance of the original.

He said the 12-strong group, which opened its latest site in Battersea last month, was concentrating fully on replacing this site and had no other openings in the pipeline.

He said: “It’s been quite a seven-year ride in a site we were only supposed to be in for two years.”
