GB Pizza Co, the Margate-based restaurant concept from Rachel Seed and Lisa Richards, is launching its first franchised site in Didsbury, MCA understands.
Seed, or former chef and food writer, and Richards, a former journalist, are looking for additional franchisees to expand the brand, which serves wood-fired pizzas in a kitsch interior.
GB Pizza Co was founded initially as a food truck operation, before finding its first bricks and mortar home on Marine Drive in Margate in 2012.
The Manchester site on Lapwing Lane is due to open in November.
They are looking for “passionate food lovers who understand great customer service” as franchisees for further sites.
