Chop Chop, an Edinburgh-based Chinese restaurant, is seeking £160k from angel investors to expand across the UK.

The group, which opened its first restaurant in Edinburgh in 2006, has raised more than £51k towards its total via Angels Den.

The group says it require funds to complete the £430,000 construction and pre-opening costs of our first site in Mitchell Street Glasgow. Any surplus funds raised will be applied to the opening of our second site.

Chop Chop exited its Edinburgh site earlier this year which Tom Kitchin has expanded his restaurant into. It still has a site on Morrison Street in the Haymarket area of the city as well as Glasgow.
