Burger & Lobster, the London-based group, is to ramp up its regional expansion over the next 12 months, after securing a site in Cardiff, M&C Report understands.
The group, which will open in Manchester before the end of the year, has taken Unit 2, 9-11 The Hayes in the city for an opening this year.
The six-strong group is also understood to be in talks on sites in Leeds and Liverpool for openings in 2015.
The company is also looking to open further sites in the capital and is understood to be in talks to secure the Via Fossa site in the Port East Building, West India Quay.
It is also thought to be looking at a further site in the City.
It will open at Ship Canal House, in Manchester’s King Street.
Edinburgh and Dublin are all slated as possible locations, as well as student and tourist towns such as Oxford and Cambridge.
The brand is planning to launch in the Middle East and is close to securing a franchise partner for an opening in Dubai next year.
The company will open its first international site this autumn in New York.
