Buenos Aires Restaurants, the steakhouse chain, has secured its eighth site in the south east and is believed to be exploring further expansion opportunities in the region.

The group, which opened a new flagship site in the City of London last summer, has secured a unit in Turnham Greene Terrace in Chiswick for an opening later this spring.

It recently opened on the site of the Westerly bistro in Reigate.

The chain was founded in 2007 by Cristian and Linda Barrionuevo. It secured the former Calico Bar & Restaurant unit, owned by Marston’s, in Watling Street, for its flagship London restaurant and bar.

The group also operates restaurants in Croydon, Fulham, Maidstone, Purley and Wimbledon.

Cedar Dean Gilmarc acted on the deal.
