Beannchor, the Belfast-based leisure and hospitality operator, has opened its first Little Wing Pizzeria restaurant that features its Patisserie Mimi concession on-site.

The opening of the site in Holywood following a £250,000 investment takes the number of Little Wing Pizzerias to five.

Beannchor, which operates more than 50 outlets in Northern Ireland, also operates the Patisserie Mimi artisan bakery concept at a stand alone site in Belfast.

Luke Wolsey, managing director of Little Wing Pizzeria, said: “Little Wing Pizzeria already has four highly successful branches in Northern Ireland and the expansion into Holywood is another major milestone for the company. We are always looking for opportunities to grow the business and we are pleased to announce the new opening which will bring a jobs boost to the local area with the creation of 20 new jobs.

“We have invested heavily in both equipment and research in order to provide a taste of Italy in Northern Ireland and some of our ingredients are also sourced from Italy to provide the most authentic and fresh taste.

“I am confident the new branch will be a welcome addition to Holywood and we are really looking forward to spreading our wings and becoming involved with the local area and supporting local causes in the community.”
