Punch is recruiting a marketing director as one of three new roles created by chief executive Duncan Garrood.

As part of a refocussing of management resources, the role of marketing director was created alongside that of chief strategy officer and development director.

As previously reported by M&C former chief operating officer Neil Griffiths took on the role of chief strategy officer while David Wigham was appointed development director, with responsibility for the rollout of the company’s brands and retail formats.

Garrood told M&C: “We see the marketing role as an absolutely crucial one going forward and we are actively recruiting at the moment to get someone of a really high calibre in that role.”
