Indapubs has opened a fifth pub – The George in Oxfordshire, as it looks to expand its estate.

Located on Lower Street, in Barford St Michael, Banbury, the free-of-tie guest house is the first opening for the James Corbett-led business outside London.

MCA understands Indapubs is also due to complete on a further pub in the coming weeks.

Last December, Corbett, whose father Hugh opened the first Slug & Lettuce in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1985, told MCA that he was looking to expand Indapubs’ estate to between 10 and 12 sites over the next five years, and had built up his senior team ready for growth.
