A string of Yates Group executives have quit the business following its £202m acquisition by Robert Tchenguiz’s Laurel Pub Company, M&C has learnt.
Ed Aspel, marketing director, has resigned his position to take the same role at JD Wetherspoon, reporting into commercial director Suzanne Baker.
Rufus Hall, who headed up the group’s Ha! Ha! Bar & Canteen concept, has left to join Noble House, the restaurant group that operates Jim Thompson’s and Yellow River Cafe.
