Russell Danks, partnership director at Greene King, is to leave the brewer and pubco after just over two years, to start his own business.

Danks has been instrumental in the launch of Greene King’s joint venture models within its Pub Partners estate. The model was unveiled last month with a partnership with Tom Kerridge – the Butcher’s Tap.

Danks will leave the group at the end of this year to launch Future Factory London – described as helping drive innovation with pace in old organisations.

This week MCA revealed a restructure of Greener King senior team, which sees Clive Chesser, currently managing director of Pub Partners and Brewing & Brands, move to focus solely on the latter. John Forrest, who is currently chief operating officer for the Retail division is to take on responsibility for the Pub Partners.
