Charles Wells has launched its Rising Stars programme aimed at fast-tracking the careers of promising pub staff.

The inaugural initiative will offer driven individuals employed by one of the group’s managed pubs the opportunity to undergo extensive training to help take their career to the next level.

As part of the continued expansion of Charles Well managed pubs, including its Pizza, Pots & Pints and Apostrophe pub concepts, the Rising Stars programme will incorporate two development schemes aimed at recognising some of the groups most committed employees, inviting them to progress within the business. The first seven ‘Rising Stars’ made up of a selection of the company’s team members and leaders will undergo a mix of eLearning, on the job training, targeted workshops, product showcases and social learning strategies, to help them grow into either a Team Leader, Assistant Manager or Sous Chef.
