BrewDog has announced it is now an official reward partner for Tesco Clubcard, allowing shopper to use their points for pints at a majority of BrewDog bars across the UK.

The partnership makes the craft brewer the only current bar or restaurant to offer beer in exchange for a Clubcard Reward Partner code.

Clubcard partner codes are eligible to be used for purchasing both alcoholic drinks and food.

Every 50p worth of vouchers can be turned into £1 to spend at BrewDog bars. With 150 points, Clubcard members will see a reduction of over 50% on some brews.

BrewDog founder and CEO James Watt said: “With an existing customer base of over 21 million active Clubcard members, we’re delighted to be the only restaurant Partner to offer pints in return for points.

“Everyone is feeling the cost-of-living squeeze, so if we can help people with the cost of our beer where possible, you can bet your pint on it that we will.”

In addition to BrewDog, Tesco reward partners include the Azzurri Group brands, PizzaExpress, Prezzo, Café Rouge, Bella Italia, Hungry Horse pubs, and Chef & Brewer.

Earlier this year, the supermarket giant signed a national franchise deal with Creams Café, which will see the dessert brand launching within Tesco cafés as shop-in-shop spaces – a first for both brands.

Yo! Sushi also announced the expansion of its partnership with Tesco, after the Japanese food brand opened its 300th site with the retailer earlier this week.
