London based cocktail bar brand Be At One is aiming for six more sites in its current financial year that ends in March.

The group is targeting areas with a healthy population of 25 to 35-year-old professionals with expendable income in the City and other areas within the M25. The group aims to have 30 bars in total in the next two or three years.

Reading Be At One opened earlier this year in the group’s first foray out of London and sites in Birmingham, Manchester and other major UK cities could follow as the group aspires to be a national brand.

“Nothing is set in stone and it changes daily as sites come up or fall through but we are interested in anything that comes up,” said marketing manager Sarah Swaysland.

“Reading is going so well. We took on an existing team and trained them up the Be At One way and we have smashed the sales target.”

Director of operations Andrew Stones added: “The Reading bar is currently trading at just over 150% of target so it has really given us confidence in our ability to both open and trade outside of London. We were anticipating a slight drop in sales after the first few weeks but it is going from strength to strength.

“We are aiming to open another five bars this year with two of those outside London, we are focussing on the south at the moment with easy commute from London.”
