The Hospitality Rising recruitment ad campaign went live yesterday (24 October), after raising £850,000 in funding and gaining backing from industry leaders and operators including Pret a Manger, Whitbread, and chef Tom Kerridge.

The campaign, led by Mark McCulloch, has begun releasing content across platforms including TikTok. A dedicated website has posted a list of vacancies across the sector, which currently stand at more than 400,000. 

The movement aims to spotlight employers with strong employee propositions and help them improve recruitment and attract new talent to the sector.

The campaign tagline – Rise Fast, Work Young – aims to champion the industry as a profession allowing young people to rise in the ranks.

The primary target is people under 30, while the movement will continue fundraising with the aim of taking the campaign past its three-month launch phase, McCulloch told MCA.
