Howard Ebison

Crosstown Doughnuts has appointed a new CEO, as co-founder Adam Wills steps down.

Howard Ebison joins from real estate and development company Hammerson, where he was managing director asset management and operations director UK&I.

He has also worked across a number of airports, including Manchester, East Midlands and Bournemouth, in a variety of commercial roles.

Wills, who also co-founded Gourmet Burger Kitchen, said Crosstown needed a new CEO to take the brand through its next stage of growth.

He said: “One of the greatest challenges we have as a founder is making sure that we have the right leadership team in place as our companies grow. I know that my strength is bringing new ideas to market and then proving their viability and scalability. That is the part I enjoy most.

“Crosstown has now grown to the point that it needs an expert CEO in place with a different set of skills to the one’s that I possess. So I am really proud to announce that we have managed to secure the services of Howard Ebison as the new CEO at Crosstown.

“Howard started at Crosstown today and will be looking to continue the growth that we have achieved over the last 9 years, putting the additional structure and processes in place to allow the next phase of growth to be safe and profitable.

“I have had an amazing time at Crosstown over the last 9 years and feel confident that we have a fantastic team to work alongside Howard for this next chapter. I will be retaining my seat on the board and looking to support the team in any way they require going forward.

“Thank you to all the staff, customers, suppliers, and supporters of Crosstown that have allowed my passion for creating great food to also be my livelihood.”
