YO! Sushi is launching a brand new range of children’s activities to help keep “diners’ little monsters busy” during the half-term period.

Launching on 17 February, the new materials include A5 sticker sheets, which kids can use to make their own little monsters, coloured balloons and a YO! Sushi Monster pencil set along with four different colouring sheets.

Every month, kids will also have the chance to enter their monster colouring creations into a competition to win a £100 meal at YO! Sushi.

Restaurants are also trialling YO! Sushi Monster boards with cut-out faces for children - and adults - of all ages to have some fun with and have their picture taken.

The Monster boards are being launched initially in the Cardiff, Bristol Cabot, Bond Street, Southbank, Bluewater and Manchester Arndale restaurants from 14 February. Customers who visit any of these six locations during half term and email facebook@yosushi.com or tweet @YOSushi with #YOMonsters a photo of them with the Monster board will have a chance to win a £100 meal.

My Ly, senior marketing manager, said: “This half-term we are looking forward to welcoming even more families to enjoy Japanese favourites such as yakisoba noodles and katsu curry. Our new fun packs for kids will keep the little ones and teens alike entertained throughout their meal and beyond. Since launching our little YO! Monsters on our takeaway packaging last year, we’ve noticed a huge demand in guests asking us about the characters range so it was only natural to make our fun packs centre around the YO! Monster family including white Kitty, Red Bear and purple Angry Mouse.”
