Wagamama founder Alan Yau may sell his Thai dining chain Basuba Etha for £50m, with the price per outlet topping the record amount paid for Caprice Holding, which includes celebrity favourite The Ivy.
Yau expects Basuba, with only three outlets at the moment, to become as successful as Wagamama, which has grown to 80 restaurants nationwide plus another 20 abroad.
