TGI Friday’s and Wagamama have been confirmed as taking new units at Cabot Circus in Bristol.

The centre, which is a joint venture between Land Securities and Hammerson, has completed deals with TGI Friday’s and Wagamama, who along with DW Sports, have taken a combined floor space of over 25,000sq ft.

TGI’s has taken 7,500sq ft in a brand new unit. The American-themed restaurant will provide seating for 270 diners and feature an open kitchen allowing guests to see their food being cooked.

Wagamama has taken a 3,459sq ft unit.

Howard Smith, portfolio manager for Land Securities, said: “Cabot Circus is trading strongly and continues to prove attractive to innovative retailers and restaurateurs alike. The centre has a well-earned reputation for fashion and style but has also seen strong growth in leisure, with a 7.5% increase in restaurant sales in the last 12 months. The arrival of TGI Friday’s and Wagamama will help to build on this growth and further add to the centre’s offer.”

CBRE acted on the deal.
